How we measure
- We write buyer-style prompts (recommendation, use-case, comparison and brand questions) and lock them before testing.
- We run each prompt 3–5 times per platform from the US, in fresh chats with personalization off, and record whether the brand appears, how it is described and which sources are cited.
- We score product data on 30 readiness checks across five areas: identity, attributes, offer terms (price, shipping, returns), trust signals, and machine access (robots.txt, CDN bot settings, server-rendered content, schema.org markup, catalog feeds).
- We report appearance rate across many runs, never "rank #1", because AI recommendation lists change from run to run.
